Born in Belgrade 1985, tough and unsettling times in former Yugoslavia. Studied art and designed, and at the age of 19 left the country and moved to Vienna. Wanted to conquer the world. Fought alone with all the demons and monsters you can encounter coming fresh in a new city. After that, I've finished architectural studies as first in class in 2012. Won multiple awards for advanced student projects and futuristic architecture. Got invited to move to Germany in 2014, and worked as an assistant at the Technical University in Munich. During that time got in touch with my first professional camera, and never let go since. Currently living and working in Kuwait as an Architect with an exceptional hobby.
Storytelling photography. I truly believe that an image has to tell a story if not, for me it has no value. That, what is captured in the frame must provoke viewers imagination, to create its own story behind it. What has lead to that very moment when the photo was taken? What comes after...
My creative hunger goes more and more into depths of raw human nature. Who we really are when we come home tired after a day full of stress and anxiety. Who we would really like to be. Free of makeup and false stiffed faces. What we dream about, what gives us the thrill. What pushes that chill that runs down our spines when we get excited.
How to capture and reveal the beauty of the intelligence hidden behind every, what the common people would call kinky or twisted, I would say beautiful and creative mind. So I’ve started from scratch using art as an escape of oppression.
Two years ago I have disposed everything I have worked on in photography and created a new identity, my true nature constrained under one name “Naked p'nk ”. “Naked ” as stripped of socially acceptable boundaries and “Punk ” as a scream for individual freedom.
Now I have two Identities, one that you can see every day dressed up nicely, official professional and polite. And the other when I take the suit off, pack my gear and go out for a hunt to make that perfect shot. To provoke and to capture the result.
Before every scene, I have long conversations with my model, getting to know each other, to feel each other. Talking about the role, all the details.
It's a dangerous game because you get emotionally involved almost every time. Each of them is exceptionally intelligent and self-aware... And that is exactly what I'm looking for.
